    Position Description
    Performs supervisory and coordinative work in the operation of a specific program or departmental project. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and student assistants.


    Major/Essential Functions
    • Responsible for properly handling all inquiries from internal and external parties relative to patient accounts.
    • Audit denials, rebill, and appeal accordingly.
    • Audit Self-Pay accounts, discount, rebill, appeal and make collection calls.
    • Meet daily, weekly and month-end goals.
    • Communicate with and prep/submit proper Documentation to third-party coding resources.
    • Meet coding productivity goals relating to lab and ultrasound clinics.
    • Contribute to key performance indicators such as clinical transformation, financial performance, patient satisfaction, business development and people development.


    Required Qualifications
    High school graduation plus five (5) years progressively responsible related experience; additional related education may exchange for required experience on a year for year basis.
