Job DescriptionPosition SummaryThis position will provide direct service to children on the Autism Spectrum.
Position Responsibilities /Essential FunctionsThe functions performed by employees in this job family will vary, but may include the following:
- Applied behavioral analysts as taught by program supervision.
- Direct children in a typical learning environment such as free play, group time, art, and sensory play.
- Feeding children.
- Changing diapers.
- Toilet training.
- Language stimulation.
- Classroom education.
- Being present at the office is an essential function of the job.
- Other duties as assigned.
Other Duties- Demonstrates knowledge of and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior.
- Works effectively in team environment, participating and assisting their peers.

Education and ExperienceRequirements consist of possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valued Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of procedures for best practice of young children to ensure the safety of the children while at Early Foundations. Ability to follow childcare licensing and reduce the negative exposure to large groups.
Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThis position is set in a childcare facility environment. May be exposed to bodily fluids. Varied activities including sitting, walking, stooping, lifting, bending, pushing, and reaching.
