Job Description:
Performs unskilled and semi-skilled manual work; i.e., construction, renovation, modification, installation,maintenance/cleaning, and repair of wastewater collection systems and or reclaimed water meters, air release valves,valves, meter assemblies and meter boxes. Perform related work incidental to these task. Assists Crew Chief andEnvironmental Specialist with routine maintenance, repair, and construction tasks.Performs preventive maintenance onvarious reclaimed appurtenance. Frequent exposure to chemicals, noxious fumes, raw sewage and exposure to extremeweather conditions.
Work schedule/location subject to change based on Division needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to read, write, and follow instructions. Some laborer experience in area assigned desired. Some positions may require a valid Florida Driver's License and home telephone. Some positions may be required to pass an annual respirator physical; no facial hair allowed between the face and sealing surface of the respirator face plate.
This positon is located at our Water Reclamation Iron Bridge location.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
